Goodwill Industries of South Florida, Inc. invests in a cadre a trainers to work with our participants. These trainers know all of the operations and are trained in how to work with people with disabilities in order to maximize their performance. This system, though very costly, is effective.

Goodwill has data that demonstrates that on average workers are able to exceed minimum wage on piece rate twice as fast and this practice has minimized turnover and improved morale. Goodwill has been able to maintain its product lines because of good quality, and has been able to meet on- time deliveries because of increased productivity.

Goodwill's entrepreneurial businesses serve to support the additional staff needed to support this practice.
